This is the top coffee destination in Jamaica Plain, and it might just be the best in all of Boston. They roast their own beans, and the owner, Kevin, is truly skilled at what he does. The snacks are fantastic, especially the everything bagel biscuit—it's a must-try! I also appreciate that they offer movie rentals that you can't find on streaming services. They often have something I'm interested in. I highly recommend this spot—10/10!

Visited the VU for the first time since 2014 last week. Still the same energy! Love the smoothies, great coffee too. Wish I lived closer, I’d be there all the time!
The coffee at the VU is so fresh and flavorful. Kevin was so knowledgeable and makes a great brew cannot recommend enough!
