The Wharf restaurant was quite memorable, especially considering the New Year's Eve rush. Despite its small and cozy ambiance, the place was buzzing with energy. The host, who was remarkably adept at handling the stress of a demanding night, managed the crowd with efficiency. We had reservations, yet it took us a surprising 45 minutes to be seated. However, this slight inconvenience was quickly overshadowed by the culinary delights that followed. Once seated, the service was impressively swift. After all the hype, we were actually disappointed overall. The crabcakes were the best thing. They were decent sized and pretty tasty. The she-cran soup was also pretty good and was my favorite. Now, we ordered the calamari and the breading was overcooked and tasted burned even though it looked ok, maybe fried in old oil? Inside, it was very chewy to the point of being rubbery; we ended up sending it back. For entrees, I ordered the scallops and risotto, and my husband ordered a NY strip. His steak looked so dry before he even cut into it, worse when he did. It had no flavor, as if it was not seasoned before throwing it on a flap top. WAY overbooked. Had to wait 45+ minutes past our reservation time to get a table. Service was good after that but the mood was already ruined. Had the NY strip steak that was mediocre a bit tough and not much flavor without salt and pepper. Side of asparagus was also tough very thick stalks. Not worth the with the wait and food quality.
The hostess rushed us and my poor mother upstairs on Mother’s Day to our table. Waited over an hour for our food. Risotto hard as a rock. Mojito was like having 100% sugar level on a milk tea. 0/10 would not come back, gotta say, extremely disappointed. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Everybody liked everything that we ate except for the lobster. It just wasn't prepared in a way that made it taste good. Other than that everything was great
I’ve been going here since my sons were kids 10 yrs old and my oldest is 31, I took my 16 yr old baby girl there for the second time.
Risotto was hard, food was left under heat lamp. Cocktails were extremely sweet. Food took almost an hour to get. Won't be back.

Food too garlicky everything tasted the same, like garlic. I might as well have just ordered roasted garlic.
