Have visited on many occasions an found to be very satisfactory, this occasion on Friday 31st March 3pm found to be unsatisfactory as food was not to satisfactory standards IE.. vegetables dry cold and under cooked, Yorkshire pudding was flat an hard along with traditional roast potatoes. Have also noticed toilets not be to cleaned to a high standard, also witnessed serving staff behind carvery eating food from the carvery making jokes and placing food back that they bit back very unprofessional and unhygienic to members of paying custom, don't know if this is an ongoing situation?? But for the time of day place was empty, annoyed at the fact have wasted £51 on food that wasn't to standard....
First time at this Toby and probably my last at this particular location. Went for three carveries and was unimpressed with how dirty the place was and also how dark! Food was ok but due to the fact it was served from the hotplate, it went cold, very quickly. Servers behind the plate were pleasant and our waitress was attentive at the start end. Not sure why the PIB cant be added on at the hot plate and come as an additional charge?? Sauces Gravy were left open for all kinds of hands and mess to dip into to.
Me and the mrs visited the Ainsdale Toby for the first time whilst visiting family. We immediately went for the carvery and we have to say it’s the best we have ever had. We both had gammon and beef and it was just beautiful. Theresa our host/ waitress sat us down and was friendly and caring throughout. She even tempted us to have a pudding to top the meal off. We will definitely be here again and hope to see the same faces.
We came for lunch on Sunday the restaurant was so busy we hadn't book but lady on desk found us a lovely table in the bar area with waitress called vicky she was so attentive, we went to the deck were the food was well presented and tasted great. We ordered pigs in blankets they arrived at the table at the same time as we did. Would recommend this place 100

I visited the establishment with my family and it was a great experience for us all. The food was lovely alongside the great service. Staff here were friendly and welcomed us all , making the day memorable for us all. We were greeted by Abi and she looked after us the whole time, we have recommended this place to other family and friends!
Went here because carvery is our granddaughters favourite meal. What a disappointment, her roast potato was so undercooked we couldn't cut into it replacement was not much better. Poor choice of vegetables all luke warm. She gave it one and a half!!. Needless to say will not be returning
I went on a Sunday with my Mrs and kids, the food was great, greeted by the host went to the carvery which was pretty quick after I've been to other carveries it's taken a while to be served. The food was good no complaints from any of our party
Today I came to Toby with work colleagues and the young people we care for. The staff were really friendly especially the manager Theresa. One of our young people thinks the mac and cheese is delicious. Thanks Toby Team :
