I was really looking forward to this place especially after the positive reviews. Customer service was good, fries were tasty but the cheesesteak was not good. Maybe I just caught them at a bad time but it was extremely dry and tasteless. I couldn't even finish it and neither could my coworker. I really wanted to like this place and have a spot for a solid cheesesteak but it tasted on par with mall food.
I ordered two pizzas from Tono Pizzeria Cheesesteaks on DoorDash, but one of them was not what I originally requested. Although it still tasted good, it was completely different from what I ordered. The pizza that was correct was extremely greasy—almost swimming in grease. While the flavor was still enjoyable, I wouldn’t recommend it.
Tono’s is hands-down my favorite new restaurant. I’ve been countless times over the past 2 (3 years in Maplewood. I’ve eaten my way through the cheesesteak menu, had several of the pizzas. I had to post today though because the pizza of the month, the Phat Pie, is outstanding. Min, great job!!! Please add that to the menu. ?
Good food! Haven’t had a bad meal here. Good flavors and always fresh tasting. The Special pizza (pepperoni, sausage, bacon, banana peppers) and truffle fries are the best.Don’t bother buying the fountain drink here if you’re getting it to go. $2 and it’s the size of kid’s cup. I got the margarita pizza with tomatoes and the hazelnut dessert pizza. Both were so good! Only thing I would improve is the pizza was cut really weird. I had like 4 pieces on 1/2 and the other half wasn’t cut. Doesn’t change the taste though!
I had a delicious pizza at Tono's. The ingredients were of high quality, the service was quick, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Their menu is quite generous, while not being overwhelming. I'd recommend a visit.
Incredible! The only drawback is having to choose between the Philly cheesesteak and the pizza, both of which are outstanding. I usually bring a friend so we can share and enjoy both choices.

I love this place! The food is fantastic—I can't believe I didn't visit sooner! The quality is outstanding and every meal is a great experience.
