Now, let’s talk about the food—wow, just wow. I genuinely believe they prepare every dish with love, as everything I tasted was outstanding. I ordered the shrimp lobster scampi in a garlic and white wine sauce, and it was delicious! It was incredibly filling and perfectly seasoned.
The decor of the restaurant is a bit dated, but that adds to its cozy, homey atmosphere. It was packed when I visited, and I completely understand why. Dirty Table cloths, rude staff hostess with no charm. Dont waste you money the food was subpar. Very disappointing experience and messed up my meal. Owner did nothing other then offer to move us to a different table. Never came back to ask how our meal was, or checked, that we were taken care of! The food was ordered gluten free pasta and chicken grilled, what came out was regular pasta after we waited about 45 minutes for dinner and they were not busy. For the party, we had a limited menu with dinner options. I ordered the chicken Marsala over pasta, and it was amazing! Each meal included soup and salad. As I'm not a big fan of soup or salad, I gave my soup to my grandmother and my salad to my mom. My grandmother loved the soup and said she would order it the next time she went out for lunch.
The only downside was that it was a bit chilly in the party room, so a few of us kept our coats on. Aside from that, it was a fantastic evening. I'm saddened to hear that the restaurant is up for sale; it has been a part of Middletown since my mother was young.

My family and I visited this restaurant for dinner for the first time to celebrate my birthday, and it was an amazing experience! Our waitress, Olivia, was absolutely the best! She guided us in choosing the right appetizers since we were unsure about the portion sizes. She also suggested some fantastic entrees that we all ended up loving! Although the restaurant was short-staffed like many places these days, Olivia handled everything beautifully, and the service was definitely worth it! We're already looking forward to our next visit!
We absolutely adore Tony Boffa's! It's the kind of food that your kids crave when they return from college, or what you long for after coming back from vacation without enjoying a good Italian meal. The atmosphere really embodies a classic Italian-American family vibe, making you feel like a member of their large Italian family whenever you dine there. Everything on the menu is fantastic, and there's nothing I wouldn't order again.
Tony's is a classic Italian-American restaurant that feels like a throwback. While the décor may be a bit outdated, it is well-maintained. The food consistently impresses, with the eggplant parmesan being the best you'll find anywhere. The garlic rolls and soups are always delicious, and the pizza is simply perfect.
The restaurant was packed tonight, but our server, Olivia, was absolutely amazing! She handled herself well with a rude customer. She was great with us in making sure we had everything we needed at all times and got our food to us quickly. We are looking forward to going back for more delicious food.

Heard a lot about this place. Went there the other day for Pizza. The Pizza was delicious. The waitress Olivia was exceptional, very attentive. I asked about their dinners and she answered all our questions. We will be back.
