Tony's Pizza is a great little hole in the wall. Friendly hard-working staff. Great selection of pizzas you can buy by the slice or whole. I even made an extra large pizza out of one of each slice of about three-quarters of what they offer. It was $30 but worth it because it was like a delicious sampler platter of what they offered. I also ordered two slices the second time I came which comes with your choice of either soda or salad. They also have good Stromboli and calzones. They have a good variety of Italian style food. I really enjoyed the pizza; it was absolutely delicious! However, you might want to bring a flashlight, as it was quite dim inside. We had some trouble reading the menu, but our waitress kindly mentioned that we could use the flashlight feature on our phones. She also said that our eyes would adjust to the darkness, which I found a bit strange. They served their signature large pizza, and it offered great value for its size. I loved the pizza, and the sangria was fantastic as well. If only I could have seen more clearly! The pizza was fantastic, earning a solid 8 out of 10. Although the crust lacked the crunchiness I'm used to, it came the closest to New Jersey pizza I've had in a while. I went in without any expectations, so if you're debating whether to try this place, I suggest you do the same—you'll probably be pleasantly surprised! I definitely encourage you to check it out for yourselves! Just a note: I can't speak to the staff since I ordered delivery through Postmates, but I want to give a big thank you to whoever made my pizza; it truly reminded me of my hometown!
I completely adored this restaurant when it was located in Whitewood Mall! I'm thrilled that it has not only survived but is also thriving. The flavors have definitely evolved over the years, but the food remains incredibly delicious. I especially enjoy the new and diverse pizza styles they now offer. I absolutely loved this spot when it was in Whitewood Mall! I'm really happy to see that it has thrived and is still in business. I do think the flavors have changed somewhat over the years, but it's still incredibly tasty. I appreciate all the new and different pizza varieties they offer now. However, nothing compares to the experience of grabbing a slice of cheese pizza, picking up an Orange Julius, and heading into the arcade!
Tony's offers one of the best slices of pizza on the West Coast. I haven't had a slice since moving to Arizona 12 years ago, and I've been craving it ever since. We're finally going back this October, and it will be our first dinner stop with the family. I can't wait to see you soon!
