My son, man and I went to the restaurant this afternoon. When we sat down, they gave us the menu order book, how many of the elements we want. There were no prices or pictures, so we assumed that the part of the food with a friendly price would be rather small as the restaurant is considered? Izakaya? And the order sheet looked like regular yakitori restaurants with small portions. Besides, no waitress mentioned everything in detail, just told us how many pieces of the articles we wanted to order. We have 8 products with beverages( thighs yakitori*2 skews, meatball cows*3, wing cows*2, short ribs*3, salmon carpaccio*2, caraca*3, rice bowl with meat*3, salad*2, and 3 drinks. Ate here once and definitely looking forward on eating here again. Almost everything we ordered was delicious. The servers were nice, food came out fairly quickly. Prices were fair for the quality of food they served. The restaurant is small and offer indoor seating only. It would be advisable if you go on Yelp and add yourself to the waitlist if possible. We came towards the end of the night on a weeknight and there was still a bit of a wait. We were seated at the bar area, which was comfortable enough. All in all, it was a great experience. This is definitely a restaurant I'll look forward on visiting next time I'm in town.
The slides are in fantastic taste, especially those? Chicken article: wings, thighs, gizzards. The pig? Products such as bacon with asparagus/ tomatoes are also good. Unfortunately, there are no grilled fish items. And some foods like egg rolls and squids are not in stock during my visit to Saturday night. The place is not large enough so it is overcrowded while the waiting time is long enough. Recommend inline with y e l p before a visit.
Love their selection of yakitori and kitchen food items. We went on a Saturday and had to wait little bit but worth the wait for sure. This restaurant is crazy. You have the most friendly staff you can ever imagine. Like they're really having fun and talking to you. The food is so good. You usually order individual items on a spear. Every thing is gourmet quality. Taigo, one of the co-owners, is the coolest guy ever. Very nice.
Good yakitori. Can get crowded but they will accommodate. Beef tongue was my favorite. Chicken is tender. Pate with crackers also really good. Quail eggs good. We tried one cheese with beef, not a fan. Everything was very filling. With drinks, expect to pay 50+ per person.
A true hidden-gem in Torrance! Loved everything! If you order shiitake mushroom skewer, I would request without soy glaze or bonito flakes, shiitake is better without added flavors. Cozy little place, awesome food. Myst make reservations ahead.
