Last night was our first visit to Toscani and we loved it. Service was almost too good, staff was friendly. My husband had the veal francese and it was superb. I had the linguine with mussels and it was just a little bland, but still good. We had the escarole/bean soup, which was excellent. The meal came with warm bread and focaccia, also excellent. We will be back and we will tell all our friends. We hope this restaurant stays around for a long time.
I visited Toscani for the first time last weekend. As someone of Italian descent, I tend to be quite critical of Italian cuisine prepared by others. However, I was genuinely impressed by both the quality of the food and the service, which others have praised as well. I ordered the Chicken Piccata, and it was perfect—not overly lemony or swimming in sauce, just right. I'm excited to return this Friday night with three friends!
I absolutely loved it! The only thing that stood out was when the owner took our check after we paid and left a tip. The poor waitress wasn't aware of it, so she came running after us! It felt like a scene out of Bonnie and Clyde… it really made my day, haha!

We're just sorry it took us so long to find this place. Whether we dine in or get takeout, the food and service are always exceptional.
