Decent dumplings but nothing special. Vegetarian/vegan options for dumplings and side dishes. I stopped in for dinner with a friend after another friend recommended the place. We shared 3 different veggie dumplings $13 for 12 pcs each) cilantro eggplant; chive bean curd; cabbage, mushroom bean curd. We also got a couple of side dishes shredded bean curd salad $6) and garlic roasted eggplant $8). All the dumplings were fine, fairly bland, and lacking flavour, but tasty enough. They actually needed more savoury/salty character and overall more depth. Came here for a quick lunch on New Years Day. The dumplings are very delicious and come in 3 styles when ordering cooked (pan fried, boiled, and steamed. You can also order them frozen to go. We had the cilantro and lamb dumplings, and a vegetarian variety. Both were tasty and fresh.A few things to note if you give this place a try water is self serve and there is no hot tea. Soft drinks can be purchased at an additional cost.The sides are mild in flavour, and I wouldn’t recommend coming to this place for their sides the verdict on them is that they are jus ok. With so many mixed reviews about this restaurant, it can be tough to decide whether to give it a try. First off, the space is small but tidy, and surprisingly, we were the only customers there during lunchtime. I went with my partner and we had the pork and anise and the cabbage mushroom pork dumplings.Everything was very good value, freshly made right in front of us, and it was amazing!!! Visited around 6:30 pm but there was no one in the restaurant. Ordered takeout for steam dumplings and they taste worse than the grocery store frozen ones. Definitely not fresh made. The comments said there is a sweet nice lady running an one woman show. Why was she so rude to me? She is either racist or really needs to improve her way of communication.
This unpretentious little restaurant serves fantastic dumplings. We ordered three types of cooked dumplings to-go—beef, lamb, and pork. Each was freshly hand-made with perfectly balanced flavors. We definitely plan to return to sample their other dumpling varieties. If you're a dumpling lover, The Dumpling House is a must-visit!
Five years later, and I still eat here at least twice a month (usually weekly). Diners should remember that this is a one-woman show. If its busy, service will be slow. This is understandable considering she's by herself and makes dumplings to order!

On line said it's open. We took a train and walked a long distance to get there. And they are closed. There were books outside and the place looked like it had been closed for some time.
