Trappers has unfortunately closed its doors a couple of months ago. I have to agree with the reviewer who mentioned the staff sitting outside smoking — that was definitely unappealing! The food service was decent, but it wasn’t enough to make me want to return. They made a valiant effort, but ultimately it just wasn’t sufficient to keep the restaurant running.
I don't go there. Haven't since they reopened and I drive past them at least twice a day. Why? When they are not busy the entire staff hangs out by the front door smoking. Not professional nor appetizing. I keep wondering if they are going to figure it out on their own, but they haven't.
Trapper's is the top spot in town for breakfast. They offer generous portions, and everything is delicious. You won't feel hungry until dinner! Their chicken fried steak is fantastic. Be sure to choose the home fries over the hash browns, and don't miss out on the biscuits and gravy.
