Tropical Mexico is a really good restaurant in Pomona and it has superb customer support and it is always a pleasure to eat there. I usually order the taco combination plate or the enchiladas and taco plate. They also serve really good fajitas. The chips and salsa are also really good. A good time to go is around 5:00 p.m. because this place gets really busy after 6:00 p.m.
This was my first time ordering through DoorDash, and I was really impressed! I had the steak fajitas, and I also ordered cheese enchiladas for the kids. The food was packaged well, so nothing spilled during delivery, and they even included chips and salsa. The price was reasonable for the amount of food we received. I will definitely be ordering again!
Been here twice before COVID-19 and the food and service was great especially the chips, salsa and the pitchers of Margaritas! Last night was our first time back since COVID-19 and was not disappointed albeit we ordered to go. While waiting for our food, we walked around the parking lot and saw they had outdoor dining as well which we'll try next time.
I absolutely love this place; it’s amazing every time I visit. Their margaritas are the best! The staff is polite, and the restaurant is very clean and well-maintained. Food had no taste. I order the tropical mexico plate it has 1 enchilada I tamal and 1 Chile relleno. The enchilada sauce, which also tasted locally on the tamal like souce from a can, I would say it tasted like las palmas enchilada sauce. My husband or a dozen fresh oysters and some of them were bad.
Delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine, friendly staff, very large seating areas, a full bar, large portions, welcoming atmosphere. This place has been there since the 90s, but I just found it in the case of '22. I'm glad I did it and will be back soon. Good stuff!
The food is always well-prepared and delicious, and the cashiers provide excellent service. I really appreciate the cleanliness and the overall atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place to others.
