We celebrated a birthday at Trummer's last night. The food was fantastic, as always. Drinks were great, though the bar was very slow for some reason. Our server, Justin, was wonderful-friendly and timely, keeping up with the different courses and beverages throughout the evening. He brought out a lovely birthday dessert for us to share, compliments of the house. Noise level was moderate, not crazy loud but not whisper quiet. We were in the smaller upper room which tends to be more intimate than the main dining areas (but can be loud due to the smaller space if you happen to have a loud party nearby). I can't say enough great things about this restaurant, I loved the ambience, and our server Brittany was amazing! I would come back just to talk to her! Let me tell you about the amazing dishes we had: I ordered the rainbow Trout, which was perfectly cooked and came with a great side of Apple slah salad. My husband ordered the steak with a side of vegetables, and it was tender and flavourful period my daughter ordered the wienerschnitzel which which were delicious juicy sections of pork. We had wonderful cocktails and a prosecco toast for my daughter's birthday. Trummers is my new place for special occasions!
Trummer's has been a favorite since we first visited in 2015 to celebrate our anniversary. Trummer's continues to impress us each visit with new dishes. My husband and I still can't agree what has been our personal favorites as we try something new each time. I highly recommend upgrading to the wine pairing with your food if available you won't be disappointed. If wine isn't your thing then definitely consider the Trummer's Titanic or Main Street Cocktails. The Trummer's staff is spectacular, friendly and attentive. An incredible dining experience not to be missed!!
We both ordered the Frech dip for lunch, one with the $2 upgrade for fries the other with the standard green salad. We asked for malt vinegar for the fries which was provided. Fries were good. The salad dressing was nothing recognizable and was not tasty. The French dip bread was coated with a hefty amount of mayonnaise and was already wet with billion and accompanied by a bowl of bullion. Given that it was not really possible to dip the sandwich in the bullion, but we did not like the favor of the bullion in any event. Not a great lunch.

As always, my husband and I had another wonderful meal at Trummer's. They always have something new and interesting on the menu, and no matter what it is, it's always divine. Not only is the dining room ambiance lovely, but the service is always top-notch, as well. This is one of those places where you should eat at least once every season so that you always get a taste of what's seasonal in a new way.
Most excellent food! Had the snapper which was perfectly cooked, not dry, very nicely seasoned and excellently portioned with the side. Cocktails were very good and best part of right size portions is room for dessert which was also delicious (smokey apple crostata)! Service was pleasant and perfect. My daughters and I went out to lunch on a beautiful fall Saturday afternoon. The restaurant is awesome. The food was so good. The cocktails are really good and we just had a really wonderful time!
