We arrived and had to wait about five minutes before anyone acknowledged us. We had made a reservation, but there was some confusion since part of our group had already been seated without our knowledge. We decided to go for the izakaya style and ordered a few dishes. Initially, the items were brought out one by one, which felt a bit odd since we were sharing them. The food was delicious, but the service could use some improvement. Overall, it was a decent experience, but nothing exceptional.
The tuna toro was the highlight here, absolutely delicious! Salmon toro was also nice, but the tuna was melting in my mouth. The quail gyoza and beef yakiniku sliders were excellent. Cancun, gekko and spicy tuna rolls were all great with my fav being the gekko roll. Lamb ribs were tender and tasty. There's also a great selection of Japanese beers and alcoholic beverages. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend.
Honestly... the food was so good. I think it may be my new favourite Japanese place in Perth.<br/ Great place for a date or a drink with their huge range of specialty drinks and japanese alcohol. The restaurant is beautiful with stunning lighting.<br/ I was so blown away that I forgot to take photos. I think that tells you how much I enjoyed it.<br/ Go here. Do.. it.. now.<br/
All the food we had was amazing, recommend the Gyoza as a starter, the wagyu on the volcanic rock was ok, my hubby loved it, I didn't like the condiments but that's personal preference. Service was very attentive and they put us on the table I requested when I booked which is always great! I recommend the Japanese Weizen beer, it's so creamy not cheap but worth it! Positives: Overall very good food, friendly service. Wagyu on volcanic stone was delicious, though if sliced even more thinly would be perfect. Also loved the seafood sukiyaki.Negatives: Food took a while to be served. The sashimi was sliced very thinly, but what was the major letdown was that there was a lot of unchewable sinew.
Gorgeous restaurant. Lovely service. Delicious food. Recommend the cod. In the entertainment book which is good. Plenty of seating. They messed up our food order, forgot my drink and gave hot sake instead of cold- lost points for those errors but they quickly tried to rectify. Still recommend.
Luxury authentic Japanese restaurant. This place offer the best selection of sakes. The foods delighting and very rich in flavour. The service is attentive. One of the best Japanese restaurant in perth.
Amazing restaurant! I had the Wagyu grade 9, and it exceeded my expectations. The ambiance is lovely, and the prices are reasonable too. I'm looking forward to trying the Wagyu steak on my next visit! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
What’s not to love? The food is delicious and beautifully presented. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but definitely worth it! A fantastic spot for a date night.
