My family brought me to this restaurant for my 69th birthday, and I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoy trying new places, and this one exceeded my expectations. I started with the tempura appetizer and the snow crab and cucumber salad, both of which were delicious. We shared two bento boxes and a rainbow roll, which were also excellent. Our nine-year-old grandson even said it was the best sushi he had ever tried. The owners even had a vase of two roses on our table in celebration of my birthday. We definitely plan on returning in the future. The average price per person for dinner was between $20-$30. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5. This place has a very special vibe. It is quiet, intimate, and peaceful. The food is outstanding and the one and only waitress is lovely. We come about once a month, and reservations are a must. Seating is extremely limited. I am a native Californian and a big foodie. This place is amazing. I have to say that in my 38 years of life, this was the best sushi and Japanese restaurant experience I've ever had. I highly recommend it. Just be sure to make a reservation in advance! I was fortunate to find an open table when I dropped by, but next time I will definitely make a reservation. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect rating of 5.
