There's a large selection of beers. I recommend a tasting to try a few.We ordered the seasoned fries and pimento cheese dip as starters. The beer selection here is excellent, and the pulled pork sliders were outstanding (and very filling!). I avoided some of the sweeter, more intense options, but there are plenty of sour beers available if that's what you enjoy. I tried the quad, hibiscus tripel, and wee heavy, all of which were really tasty. I ended up taking home a four-pack of the wee heavy. Dan, the staff member, is really friendly and easy to talk to. They’re happy to chat if you’re interested, or they can leave you alone aside from checking in, depending on your preference. I highly recommend this place for both the food and the beer!
The most puzzling part of our experience was when we were told we couldn't sit at one of the picnic tables, which made up most of the seating, since we were a party of two. The staff explained that those tables were primarily reserved for families with kids and dogs. However, during our visit, I noticed several other two-person parties being seated at picnic tables without reservations and without being asked to move. It definitely affected the overall vibe of the place.
I decided to have lunch at this place and the BBQ was absolutely delicious. The burgers stood out as my favorite due to their juicy and flavorful nature. While the smoked hot wings were decent, they didn't quite reach the same level. On the other hand, the brisket burger and Mac and cheese were satisfyingly good. Lovely family owned brewery /restaurant with the best smoked meats! I love the option of ordering my brisket lean and the barbecue sauce is old school amazing.... macaroni and cheese , French fries are wonderful also. Friends love the salad. Love the music on Wednesdays and Sundays! O the ???? Sours have tamed down and pastry stouts are still wonderful and the IPA's are always fresh!
We recently held a company event on the patio, and it was wonderful. The food was excellent, and the beers were very impressive. The service was outstanding, with a special thanks to Shannon for her assistance before, during, and after the event. I highly recommend contacting HC if you need a venue for your event.
I've visited this restaurant twice, and both experiences have been great. The food has consistently been excellent. The staff is friendly, seating is usually easy to find, and they have music on Sundays along with an outdoor area.

Staff was very friendly seating us and made sure our kiddo had a high chair. I love the outdoor seating area. Bbq is great, enjoyed the brisket, and beer is tasty.
