After sitting at the bar on a Tuesday at 4:45, they told us only the rooftop is open. So we went up the stairs and downloaded the beer menu. We went to the young woman bartender and asked for our beers. We were informed we can’t get any drafts beers on the rooftop. Bottles? No, only cans. So we found two cans we’d like. Can we have two glasses? No, we only have plastic. Fine. Two plastic cups for our canned beers. Do you take Apple Pay? No. Man, what a disappointing visit without any apology from the other side of the bar. We thought we couldn’t find a bad experience in Charleston-so many great places. I guess at Uptown Social they think they don’t have to try.
Booked a bridal brunch here!! The food was great, they decorated the table so cute, the atmosphere was fun, and the service was great! We came back to see how it was a bar and loved it!! They played great music. I lost my wallet there and they ended up shipping it back to me since I live out of town!! Great place and such kind staff! I will definitely be back here my next time in Charleston!
makes the best party atmosphere on the king street. there is a large club dance floor and dj down. on the upper floor there is a second smaller dance floor and a terrace like a house party. despite the amount, we never had to wait long for drinks. the bathroom lines get super long, but otherwise, great place for Friday and Saturday nights.
I visited this restaurant for a birthday celebration on October 6, 2021. We happened to arrive during a drag show, which I had always wanted to see, and it was great! Food was good, and the drinks were okay. The atmosphere is what drew me in. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. There are a lot of bars and restaurants, this was has an inviting atmosphere with a diverse crowd. The view at the roof top bar at sunset is amazing. I hope you check it out.
Fun spot to be watch NFL football! All the games were on, **** Mary’s were excellent and the pizza was good! Our server Nicole and was amazing. She was attentive, super sweet, and patient even though the place was packed! We will definitely be back when we make another visit to Charleston!!
One of the hottest places to eat, listen to music, and enjoy sports in Charleston. You should definitely check it out! Grab a cold drink and then order a pizza—it’s absolutely delicious! It's also a great spot for people-watching. Bleecker has been my favorite so far!
