Veggie Heaven offers a unique and refreshing dining experience with high-quality vegan dishes that leave you feeling energized, not bloated. The green tea was enjoyable and not too bitter, and the Hunan dumplings were a favorite with a light sauce that left you wanting more. The Ting Ting Two Flavor entree had great flavors reminiscent of a classic Tao sauce, with crispy cashews and perfectly steamed veggies. The service was attentive, and though parking was a challenge, the affordable prices, especially for appetizers, made it worth it. Overall, Veggie Heaven gets a 4.3 out of 5 and is definitely worth a visit in Montclair.
The vegan options at this restaurant were very good. We enjoyed everything we tried, as the dishes were fresh, well-prepared, and flavorful. While they didn't quite capture the full traditional Chinese flavor, they are still excellent choices for vegan food. I will definitely be returning when I am craving healthy and tasty options. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
The food is so good and 100% vegan. It’s satisfying and I really like the flavor. They have perfected their seitan and the menu is huge. I’m not vegan or vegetarian, but I am open minded about most food. I would definitely give this place a try if you’ve been curious about vegan meals. The prices are fair and they are very organized with their takeout. Would recommend.
I’m so happy there is a place like veggie heaven in New Jersey! Genuine Chinese menu items, plus several Americanized options for everyone. The ambiance and decor is also fantastic. This place used to be pretty good, but unfortunately the quality has gone downhill over the years…now it’s just standard Chinese food with Mock meats…the Teaneck location is far superior.
We were visiting from Maine and would absolutely recommend this to everyone to go try. We loved every bit. Hoping to come back for a visit in the area again for another visit.
