We stopped by and grabbed some take out the other day and had a great lunch on the go! Usually go to C lovers but the location was closed so we saw this place F C don't bog you down during your work day so glad they were open Some of the reviews weren't very good but thought we'd check it out anyway. Order was ready fast Price was reasonable Turned out to be really really good!! We both got the 2 piece cod Tons of Great fries The fish was cooked perfectly My wife doesn't often eat the batter but it was light and crispy and not too greasy so she didn't have to strip it off the filets The tarter sauce isn't your usual chunky savoury kind but rather a sweet creamy sauce Kinda like a honey musta...
First time ordering: We ordered the 2 piece cod meal deal via Uber Eats tonight.For the price this was a great meal! Wasn’t sure what to expect but as we prefer a “thinner” batter on our fish, this was awesome!Decent size pieces of fish and pretty good tartar sauce. The fries were good but the real star was the fish. Door to door we had our meal in 45min. When I also called the restaurant initially they were super friendly. We will be going back for sure!
we had tried some other fish and chips but were despised! austen fish and chips was recommended to me by a friend of my daughter, so we decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed a bit! the restaurant was clean, the dame that waited for me was very friendly and helpful, and the fish and chips were amazing, was not a greasy tasting at all and was fresh and tasty! we will definitely go back!
This restaurant is my favorite in the city. The prices are reasonable and the fish is decent. There are no issues with the customer service, unlike some other places. Overall, it's exactly what you would expect from an affordable fish and chips restaurant. They deliver good value for what you pay.
the fish was in order, but the chips need work. Maybe I was just unhappy with the time when I left, but the riders smeared like karton. would recommend c-lovers for high quality food. the personal was nice and friendly, which made the experience a little better.
Fish was hot, very busy and the only waitress handled it incredibly well dealing with take out and in store customers. Personally, the tartar sauce tasted like mayonnaise with a little bit of dill and it just wasn’t for me. Otherwise tasty.
After watching the football match, I decided to try the fish and chips at this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were delicious and not greasy as I had expected. The portions were generous as well.
I really enjoyed my lunch at this place. The prices were reasonable for what I got. The food was delicious. The restaurant has a bit of a rough feel in my opinion, but I think it adds character.
3 huge spices of healed, probably the best I've ever had, not greasy. Friends were great. my mouth was so fresh. no outrage after the bonus.
