To explain further, I visited the restaurant several times since early October, leaving my name, phone number, and organization during each visit. Even on a Saturday night, I specifically went to see the owner—who I was told would be on-site that evening—to follow up on my request. During that visit, I spoke with a person named Lizzie, who informed me that the booking book wasn’t available to check the dates I was interested in. She assured me that she would apologize for the inconvenience and would call me on Sunday. Unfortunately, that call never came.

My absolute FAVORITE RESTAURANT. They have the BEST Food in the city! If I could eat here every Tuesday and Thursday I would those are there prime days. Their staff is absolutely amazing and welcoming. You will definitely feel like family coming here. The food is food is soooooooo rich and flavorful. Now that COVID is rearing her ugly head they have brought the FULL MENU BACK. They have tons of wine selections and the margaritas as to FIE FOR!!! Excellent food and wonderful people! I recently discovered this hidden gem in North County, and it was my first visit. My cousin and I started with the Eggplant Parmesan and Lobster Ravioli as appetizers, and they were absolutely fantastic! I chose the Portobello Mushroom Pasta, while my cousin had the Rib Eye Steak Sandwich. Everything was cooked to perfection. As a picky eater when it comes to food quality, I can honestly say I haven’t been this satisfied with a restaurant in a long time. I can't wait to explore more of the menu! If I could give it 10 out of 5 stars, I would do it in a heartbeat!

The atmosphere was delightful, featuring classic cherry wood furnishings, and we were greeted with a warm smile by the hostess. The food was excellent; I enjoyed the Spaghetti Pomodoro with chicken breast, while my wife had the Eggplant Parmesan. The portion sizes were generous enough for us to take some leftovers home. The prices were so reasonable that our tip ended up being nearly as much as the bill itself.
If I could rate the food negatively, I absolutely would! This restaurant is far from authentic. The food tasted like it was straight out of a can or jar. The noodles were gummy and mushy, and the shrimp was undercooked. It was overly salty and way overpriced. I was thoroughly disappointed with the whole experience. This will be my first and last visit! Food rating: 1/5.
This is a wonderful family-owned restaurant. The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding! The staff really knows how to treat their customers well. Make sure to call the restaurant directly for reservations instead of using Google.
I had a calm experience at Roast-Rind while listening to Mr. Mans and his Roast-Rind sandwiches. I ordered the chicken with a white wine and lemon butter sauce, and it was delicious.

The food is excellent and offers great value. It's consistently delicious, and the friendly staff always makes you feel special. I particularly love the grilled shrimp.
Wow. Just one word: fantastic. That was one of the best Italian meals we've ever had. The stuffed mushrooms were incredible, filled with delicious Italian flavors.
