My friend and I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at this cafe. It is located in the historic downtown area of Whittier and conveniently close to an open parking lot. The bar menu features craft cocktails and wine, and the bartender is very knowledgeable, so be sure to strike up a conversation! The food menu was small but well-organized. We enjoyed the tuna tartare appetizer, which featured fresh and flavorful tuna with a spicy sauce, served with crunchy and tasty chips. For our entrees, I had miso marinated Chilean sea bass with organic jade pearl rice and spinach. I'm not usually a fan of Chilean sea bass due to its soft texture, but this dish surprised me with its light flavors and delicious rice. My partner had the ribeye with bourbon mushrooms, which was a juicy and tender cut with plenty of flavor, he really enjoyed it. Came here for their spicy martini, it's SO goood!!!! We ordered martinis and appetizers. I was skeptical in the beginning but the combination of sweet, spicy and booze was great. We also tried their portobello mushroom fries, sweet potato fries, calamari and cheese plate. I really liked the mushroom fries, it didn't have too much breading but just a perfect amount of seasoning. The calamari was a bit burnt so we returned it and they came out with a semi-burnt calamari, a bit disappointing. Parking: there's a public parking structure on this street that you may easily access. Great service!
This was a our first time here.. and it was great and are looking forward to coming back! The happy hour there is one of the best around and worth checking out in uptown Whittier. Bar staff was friendly and quick to offer suggestions, there was a TV inside and nicely decorated. If you are looking for a intimate happy hour spot in Uptown.. I recommend this place. We really enjoyed the crab cakes which were made with crab and shared the burger... very tasty and good sized. Definitely a hidden gem in uptown and will come back to try the menu! Cheers!
I visited this restaurant on a Friday night and had a fantastic dining experience! I tried the blueberry lemon drop martini while my companion had the dark and stormy cocktail. The decor was lovely and the lighting was just right. The artwork on the walls was adorable. The service was a bit slow, but understandable as they were busy. I ordered the chicken piccata and my companion had the lamb. For dessert, we enjoyed the delicious creme brûlée. Overall, it was a wonderful evening and we will definitely be returning!
This review will be short because there's one thing about this place that just has me sold... SPICY MANGO MARTINI. Have it in the house way in a martini glass or have it shaken over ice, it's heavenly either way. My coworker recommended this place to me a couple of weeks ago and when I went to try it it had me committed to Vintage faster than my boyfriend! Parking is by street and though I ate there for dinner, I honestly cannot even remember how the food tastes because I was so drunk from the martinis.

Ok Escargot was amazing! Use the bread and dip in the left over butter garlic. Rib eye medium with the sauce (xtra was very good! Octopus Salad was a explosion of flavor! Tuna Tar Tar was ok.. not bad just everything else was so amazing! Order the Spicy Mango Martini! Carlos was great. We had a opportunity to taste their yummy Creme brulee! He was friendly and did not forget a thing : Ok the place is super cute. I am coming back for sure. Happy Hour 5 to 8 get some good drinks for half off.
