I stopped by Waffle House after a long road trip, as I have a fondness for the place. However, it was extremely busy, with no available counter space and tables that needed clearing. There was a sign indicating that counters should be reserved for parties of two or more, so I waited to see if any spots would open up. I noticed several staff members making eye contact with me, but after three to four minutes, I decided to leave. The staff looked exhausted and undervalued. I usually tip well, and I was quite hungry, but I ended up heading to another restaurant that at least greets you upon entering. To the manager: please improve the situation. Service was fantastic! The cook was not personally satisfied with the quality of my eggs and took it upon himself to make two additional eggs for me without any prompting. I would have been perfectly fine with the eggs he cooked for me, but he wanted to go above and beyond. I commend that! The waitress was very kind and outgoing and always checking to make sure we were satisfied. But not at an overwhelming level of checking-in. Well worth a 2 hour trip on a Friday night to indulge in the house of waffles. #wafflesarebetter
My friend and I visited this restaurant last Sunday after spending the weekend in the Saint Joseph area, and we had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, especially our waiter, which really kicked off our day on a positive note. We both ordered bowls, and they were delicious. Our food arrived very quickly after we placed our order. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would gladly return here again.
The worst! Demetrius needs an attitude adjustment. We asked for a well done waffle and it was the only thing not well done. Bacon was burnt, eggs were cold and dry. He was more concerned about his empty vape than his customers. And just because we were the only customers in the restaurant doesn't mean we didn't hear his profanity with the cook. Ugh!!! They really need to open another location in St. Joe. This place gets way too crowded in the mornings. I couldn't even get a seat to eat at 9 AM and ended up going to Perkins, where they were more accommodating.
Just got a to go order and our food was perfectly match to our specific preferences. Waffle House makes a long drive much shorter. Thanks for a great job.
The service was astounding. The food was fresh, tasty and hot. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone. My wife and I will return as customers.

Horrible food, disgusting floors/counters and the staff is rude. Took forever to order and there wasn't a whole lot of people in the place.
