I decided to wing it and give this place a try this week. The vibe was that of a typical micro pub. Standing room only at 7:00 pm. waited only about 15 minutes for a table though. The staff was pleasant and not pushy as I looked it over carefully. I started with the appetizer of shrimp. These were spot on! 6 big juicy ones that had some house made beer batter. first, I was a big fan of the washena tap room since they opened. probably spent $5,000 there. naja, about a month ago, november 2019, my wife and I went there for date night, spent just shy of $100 my wife ordered her burrito and I ordered garnelen tacos and fret. we also ordered stout beer/porter and the first four we had asked were outside, although on the menu of the washena tap room. my wife ended up with an ipa and I got a scotch. 45 minutes later it came to eat. my fish tacos were very cold as the fries were. not warm, but cold room temperature. I read most reviews before we eat here. most people said eating was either big, moderate or too expensive and the service was terrible. my friend got the buffalo chicken pizza and we thought it was pretty good. I have the fish tacos... not so great. my fish was hard and I didn't care. my beer was great! I have those who dress and make friends jealous! it was a little expensive but on the place. as far as the service. not about the top customer service, but when we started talking to the out server, he spoke back. very friendly and packed with family and children. I ordered a hardwood grilled chicken burrito, which was very good. black beans, rice, chicken hints of lime. and a order of Angry frits, which is cut fries, Jalapeño bits, Pimento cheese with a side by habanero dipping sauce shhhh! was not really hot at all! everything in all it was good eating, great service, good price and great atmosphere. The sweet potato fries are amazing!! The pizza that I had was okay, nothing to write home about but I have certainly had worse. My husband had the fish of the day sandwich which was cod and it was fried beautifully and the bite I had was very good. It's a tap room and the beers were plentiful and our server made several great recommendation. I look forward to returning
Really wanted to love this place.. It is beautiful. BUT.. It took 25 mins to even get our drinks and they were not busy. One was completely wrong.. Waitress leaned so far past me to put a drink down, her armpit was one inch from my cheek. Quality of service by the staff was absurd.. Had such high hopes
Always a good time. Great location even though the parking kind of sucks on popular nights. But if you're biking or running from the greenway, what a great place to stop for a beer and pizza. Delicious food, great drink selection, great service. Love this place. I keep going and going back!
The Tap Room is awesome, great staff as well. Showed up on short notice with a party of 8 and they worked really hard to make room for us. Good food and great beer. If you haven't been you should try it, there's a reason it's crowded. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Great ambiance, more than decent food. Location, ambiance, outdoor patio, and beer selection are great...as are the pork nachos and pork tacos. Sometimes the food comes out less than hot...but they are quick to fix it.
