I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. The restaurant is easily visible from the road and they offer free parking. This family-owned business is one of the best local restaurants in New Jersey. The quality of the homemade food is top-notch. The staff, some of whom are the owners, are incredibly talented. The prices are reasonable. Although they have outdoor seating, it was not available on the day I visited. I tried the Sphinx breakfast from their Specials menu, which was delicious, and my wife ordered the French toast, which she found to be very tasty. Good options for breakfast or lunch. Menu consists of mainly American and Turkish options. I didn't have high expectations given that diverse menu, but the Turkish food was actually very good. I ordered the lamb shawarma which was delicious, and really authentic. Lamb was really flavorful and tender. And the sauce that they added was great. It would have been better with a side of fries or even salad, but even without that I felt that the price was reasonable. Also tried some of the Shakshuka. My first time having this dish. This restaurant is located on the opposite side of the train station away from all the busy and flashy shops and restaurants. When you walk in, the decor of the place is your typical diner and really nothing to write home about. But don't let these two factors fool you. The food really is amazing and service is top notch. The avocado toast with salmon was delicious! Creamy avocado topped with generous portions of well seasoned and good portion size salmon fillets. The salads were also very good although perhaps just a tad on the salty side perhaps due to the feta? But it was tasty nonetheless. Overall, food was exceptional. Definitely come try yourself.
I recently enjoyed my first meal at the Westfield Station Cafe. The breakfast menu, which includes the standard options, offers some diverse meals. I had the Egyptian Breakfast (three poached eggs in a savory tomato sauce with peta bread) which was delicious. The spice was enough to add flavor but not dominate the taste. Perfect for a cold or chilly morning.The service was prompt, friendly and professional.

This is great place to either great American breakfast / lunch or dip into some delicious Egyptian cuisine. All their dishes are full of taste and none of their food is boring or typical. The owner is the cook and checks personally with each table on the food and experience. overall this is a fantastic family restaurant with a ton of taste
Hustling and bustling diner. Food was what you’d expect in a diner. Not fancy, but what we needed for a quick bite and meetup. The Egyptian flair on the menu added some diversity. Wait staff was busy, but expedient.
This restaurant is a hidden gem. Their breakfast never fails to impress! The staff is incredibly attentive and the Omelets Home Fries are delicious. If you're in the area, make sure to stop by!
This restaurant serves the best Shakshuka I have ever had outside of the Middle East, no question about it! The food here is top-notch and I am excited to return again and again.

I don’t like to give 5 stars often, but the Egyptian lentil soup earned it. Also ordered kofta and Turkish coffee that were very good.
