We stayed at the White Horse Inn campsite over the bank holiday weekend and had a lovely time. We had a standard grass pitch no electric hookup as we have a panel van with a leisure battery although there were a few pitches that did offer electric if you need it. The campsite is basic but does offer a washing up station, showers and toilets, the site is a little tired but perfectly usable and has big pitches for you to set up. It is a little strange when paying as you pay per person not per pitch but it does make it very cheap if you are staying solo. The site is dog and child friendly and assigns you a pitch in check in, the pub itself is very nice inside and offers lots of outside seating...
I visited the pub in September and was quite disappointed. While they offered a wide selection of beers, many were quite pricey—over £11 a pint—which is excessive. Additionally, there was only one traditional UK dark beer available on tap. In contrast, Wetherspoons in Sudbury has a much larger variety of traditional real ales for under £3 a pint. The food options were limited, and the quality didn't meet expectations, especially the ice cream, which was £3.40 for just 100 ml and tasted quite unpleasant. Furthermore, some of the facilities could have been cleaner. If you're looking for traditional UK real ales and good food, I would recommend avoiding this place.
Charming setting in the countryside. This pub, brewery, and campsite is very eco-friendly, utilizing solar power where possible and featuring natural surroundings enhanced with bird feeders and various wildlife-friendly facilities. Note that it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. I highly recommend reserving a pitch and staying for a couple of nights to enjoy some of the numerous home-brewed beers. Rooms: 4
Really nice pub with camping pitches. The grass was a little long and facilities basic but all you need. The water is really hot so easy to wash and clean everything. The restaurant offers a great variety of ales and delicious pizzas. The camping field is decent, but the toilets and showers unfortunately detract from the overall experience.
The beer, cider sourdough is so good I love stopping by at weekends. Such a great vibe to the place, you can feel they've got something special going on here

The best pub hot chocolate I've ever tasted...choice of milk or dark and made with quality chocolate (not powder).
