I was very disappointed with the brunch experience. At $40 per person, I expected to be able to try everything we ordered. However, we were limited to ordering just two dishes per person at a time. To make matters worse, many of the dishes we ordered were missing, and we frequently had to remind the waitress about them. When the food finally arrived, it was cold; both the chicken and waffles and the fish tacos were served at a low temperature. We also ordered a crab cake, which never came, despite the waitress insisting it was being prepared every time we asked. My daughter's Caesar salad was also never delivered. When we raised our concerns with the waitress, she explained that the kitchen...
Having frequented this locations 'prior establishment ' (75/80 glory days???? in my younger years it was great to come back decades later to enjoy a truly fine crafted meal. Steak and cake (crab was my main pick and the portions were great. Aparticular spice they used was just enough and not too overpowering to add a unique element to both the crab cake and steak. Green beans were well sauteed with a great mix of onion and garlic flavor. They were devoured. By me. Looking forward to goingback for another date night or even to take our older, seasoned mannered kids????
We came on a Thursday for a date night. When we arrived the bar side was full and there were only a few tables left available when we sat down. Fidias did a wonderful job on recommending the Sauv Blanc from Quivara. We started with ceviche, which was agenerous portion of squid, shrimp, and tilapia. For our mains we hat the steak and crab cake and Peruvian fish with yuccafries. Both were heft portions and very affordable. We finished off the night with there signature tres leches cake. We arelooking forward to returning again another night.
We had a fantastic birthday dinner with family tonight. This place has a relaxed, no-frills vibe that feels genuine—not at all pretentious. The steaks are cooked to perfection and can stand up to those found in high-end restaurants. The sauces and sides are thoughtfully prepared, served in generous portions, and they offer a range of flavors to suit various tastes. I had the best dinner the other night! My husband and I shared the tomahawk special along with the mussels appetizer, which was recommended by the owner. It did not disappoint! Everything was absolutely amazing, and there was plenty left over for the next day. Thank you, Jorge!
This hidden gem of a restaurant was a delightful surprise. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. Even our pickiest eaters enjoyed their meals! It’s definitely worth the trip! And don’t forget to leave some space for dessert!
