My biggest fear is that this bakery will go out of business. It truly is the most wonderful bakery in Stevenson, and their prices are incredibly low (around $3.50 to $5). I've noticed that their prices hardly increase even with inflation, which makes me worry about their sustainability because I can't imagine life without them. (I'm sure they have a solid handle on their finances, though! Haha.) I've been living in Richmond since 2014, and the Stevenson Bakery has never lost its charm. It’s genuinely a delightful place. As I approached the display case, I was initially attracted to the trays of pastries and cakes. They looked tempting from a distance, but upon closer inspection, I noticed tiny bite marks and droppings. It was evident that these unwelcome pests had made themselves at home long before I arrived. Seeing mice scurrying across the floor was both disturbing and unsanitary. It raised serious concerns about the bakery's cleanliness and commitment to hygiene, and it completely shattered my confidence in their ability to deliver safe, quality products. This was a clear sign of a significant failure in pest control, which is entirely unacceptable for any food establishment.
I absolutely love this place! My family and I are vegetarians, so it's always a challenge to find eggless cakes. That's when we discovered Steveston Bakery. The bakers here create incredible cakes that are full of flavor and simply delicious. We are never disappointed and always return for more. We feel so fortunate to have found this gem, and we will definitely continue to support it!
I absolutely adore the Steveston Bakery! I highly recommend their soups, fruit and fiber muffins, and Eccles cakes. The soups are consistently homemade and hearty, making each visit a delight. Steveston Bakery has been voted the Best Bakery in Richmond, and it's easy to see why. This fantastic bakery offers unbeatable value for breakfast and lunch, making it the go-to spot in both Richmond and Steveston. They are open seven days a week and bake fresh goods daily. You absolutely must try their cheesecake—it's simply divine!
Instead of being helpful, she continued to prepare my croissant without considering my concerns. It was really frustrating, not only because she said no—I've definitely taken my business elsewhere for less—but also because of her dismissive tone. Although the food was delicious, the poor customer service left me feeling disappointed.
Best little shop for high quality meats, cheese , deli meats , home made frozen soups and dinners and fantastic selection specialty items. Staff is amazing and so knowledgeable and very helpful ! Would not shop any where else !

I shouldn't have to microwave a croissant to soften it, especially when I just bought it at 11:00 AM. It was clearly a day-old croissant, and for $4, that's disappointing.
