My partner and I enjoyed our visit here with Bearabbit and her partner. Yuni's has a very nice entrance, a red door to the cosy restaurant inside. <br/ <br/ We chose a number of dishes to share, the chicken satay was very nice, juicy tender chicken with a delicious satay sauce. We also wanted to try the rissoles after reading so many reviews, they appeared to me to be more of a croquet. Yuni’s Kitchen serves fantastic, delicious Indonesian food that’s rare to come by outside of Indonesia. The flavours are spot on we loved every single dish. The nasi campur is a highlight the chicken is cooked to perfection.<br/ <br/ While it’s perhaps in the upper range of what you’d pay for Indonesian food in Melbourne, when you think about how labour intensive it is to make Indonesian food like this AND the quality ingredients, it’s absolutely worth it.<br/ <br/ Take it from an Indonesian family Yuni’s is a must visit.
I recently visited Yuni's Kitchen and was impressed with the authentic Indonesian cuisine they offer. Located in the bustling food hub of Northcote, the restaurant has a nice vibe with indoor and outdoor seating options. I tried the Duck dish and found it to be amazing, while my friends enjoyed the Gado Gado and fish dishes as well. The plates were all cleared, and we all left satisfied. Last night, I visited this restaurant with my friend and we were blown away by the amazing food! It was incredibly authentic and delicious. The portion sizes were great and the presentation was on point. We were served promptly and left feeling very satisfied. This has quickly become our new favorite spot!
Nasi campur sayur, $21, good mix of everything for a interesting meal.<br/ <br/ Several good veggo options available.<br/ <br/ Nice small restaurant inside an old church building. Bathrooms are in a separate building up for steps.
First night out after 3 months SO impressed with Yuni’s Kitchen. The food was very flavoursome, authentic well portioned. Thank you for catering to us in these times. Shall return to try some more dishes soon!
