It has been so good having a Zambrero outlet in Moonah! Apart from the ability to have a "Taco friday" at work, Zambrero is such a good alternative to other fast food outlets. Never had a hair, flipped up order or missing items from an order. Although carb heavy it's still the best out there on main road Moonah and to top it off it replaced the China Diner! Thank Christ that place has gone haha no offense but lets be honest. Dirty counters, very slow making orders (maybe they need to visit Subway to understand how to serve people at a good pace). Zambrero has one thing going for it and that's absolutely no competition in Tasmania. Zambrero have their meats in big pots, these pots don't fill you with hunger pains, they rather leave you wondering how long has this plastic spoon has been sitting in this pot? and how I'm paying $12+ for this burrito?! Anyone who is rating this as "Amazing Mexican", leave your Hobart bubble and try some interstate Mexican please.
Customer service was absolutely shocking today... Partner walked in and was the only one waiting, 4 staff members were in the back talking, then even after making direct eye contact with him they continued talking.... Made no effort to serve him at all.. He had to call out to them a few times and they acted surprised that he was there even after making eye contact Food: 5

the quesadilla i got had an odd smell to it. decided to take a closer look and was shocked to see green spots of what i believe was mould. was pretty hungry tho so i downed them, but paid the ultimate price. have currently been on the toilet for the most part of 5 hours and it’s not showing any sign of easing. please pray for me. The food was perfect. The place is very modern and clean.The venue lacks atmosphere for diners. Admittedly it's probably set up for a more take away following. But the dining area lacks intimacy because it is so open, cold and clinical. Will I be back? I sure will !!
