Located opposite the Altona Train Station Zorba's Fish Chip Shop has been a firm family favourite for many years and my husband I are pleased to recommend this eatery to our fellow travellers. I stopped by for a snack after a road trip to the countryside. I ordered some delicious steamed dumplings, which were served nice and hot. I asked for soy sauce and was given plenty. In addition to dim sum, they also offer souvlaki, sushi packs, fish and chips. The owners are very friendly and always have a smile on their faces whenever I visit. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, kid-friendly, and has good parking out front.
Cheap and cheery flake and chips to feed all! Even sushi! Quality for reasonable price. AND they provide tartare and lemon. Our go-to at Altona beach every time. Only thing is we didn 't really enjoy the fish or the day due to its watery texture but that was just us. This cozy fish and chip shop located conveniently around the corner has become a favorite of ours. We have visited twice already! The service and food are excellent, with all the staff being friendly and helpful. Afternoon snack after a road trip to the country and back. Dropped in for some steamed dimmies. Delicious. Nice and hot and asked for soy sauce and was given plenty. I really enjoy the fish and chips at this restaurant. The food is wrapped in paper instead of a cardboard box, which adds to the experience. The staff is very friendly and the food was delicious. I will definitely be returning.
there are three fishing and chip shops in altona. two near the beach and always run over with people and this is hidden near the railway station. make the two minutes to foot and go to the local fish and chip shop
