The food is decent, but the customer service leaves much to be desired. The woman who works in the morning has a really unpleasant attitude and seems to handle everything in an aggressive manner, almost as if she dislikes her job. I don’t know her name, but she’s the plump older lady who works in the morning. However, the afternoon shift is much better! The young guy who works then provides excellent service, has a great attitude, and pays attention to details. I will definitely return in the afternoon!
The Mexican food here is fantastic and served quickly! We tried the chicken enchilada combo, which comes with rice and beans, and it was much more satisfying than a burger from typical fast-food joints. The beef tacos were also delicious. This was our dinner on our last night in Los Angeles. However, we discovered they serve breakfast and open early, so the next morning at 9 AM, we decided to grab some food from their drive-thru.
The best Alberto's in all of El Monte! The salsa is unique, flavorful, and genuinely spicy. The food is delicious and clearly made with care. I also noticed that the staff are experienced and take their jobs seriously. I highly recommend dining here. It's fantastic!
