The cakes are always old. Every time I bought a cake, he tasted old. There's even some cash flowing from that old cake. Even strawberries taste alcohol because of their fermentation. Crimage is so scary that it's old. Yet, when I asked the cashier when the cake was made, she always replied: this morning. Not only does she lie down in my face, but they don't even make a discount for old cakes. If no one buys your cakes, you have to throw them away. Do not leave them in the window all week and sell them at full price. Are you bankrupt or what?! The beetles are always burned and old. I put 1 star because pastry is less bad. To be avoided: large cakes, slippers with beta, doughnuts and cookies....
Second time ordering from Ambrosia for a special event. They prepared cupcakes, macarons and customized sugar cookies for my baby shower. I shared images for the cookies and they replicated them perfectly! We placed our order with Elena; she was able to answer all our questions and made great suggestions to meet our party needs. Everything was delicious; highly recommend!
Got a slice of birthday cake which was perfectly moist and sweet, and my girlfriend got 2 kinds of baklava, which I could not eat since I am allergic. However, they did look divinely crunchy and I was assured they were amazing. The shop has an amazing decor, the staff spoke both english and french perfectly and were quick to serve. Great hidden gem in Laval.
This is my favourite bakery! The service is great, they all work so hard! Every pastry I've tried has been so tasty. It's my go-to spot for treats. I got my birthday cake here and had no problem finishing it! Their baklavas are so delicious, I seriously can't say enough good things, go get some sweets y'all!!
Its ok. Went recently to buy bday cake red velvet. The cake was dense was defenetly not the best. We had a hard time eating it all. Missing some moisture and fluffyness. The creame cheese and frosting was really good though that saved it. The cake looks really nice though. Love the look of it.
The Greek cakes are ok, the rest unfortunately need a lot of work… you can get similar quality at Costco.The spanakopita/tiropita are very bland.They should accept credit cards… please don’t be cheap.
Their cheesecake and strawberry shortcake are to die for. Thank you so much for bringing joy in every bite. :
