Attended as a family group and orders resulted in the sampling a variations of the menu. Pizza's are made from fresh ingredients every time and a good range of toppings are available. Other meals, predominantly of Italian cuisine are available and again, freshly made. Ceaser salad, chicken wings, veal parmigiana, pizza are some of the items ordered and enjoyed by our group. A reasonable selection of wine and other drinks are available at reasonable prices. A range of desert to satisfy all needs with the younger set in our group enjoying different flavoured gelati. Coffe to finish made this all in all a good meal in a comfortable and clean setting. Can recommend and will be back.
I read somewhere that this place is the closest thing to gourmet pizza restaurants. I was let down.We ordered:Schiacciatta - It's basically garlic pita with mozzarella and tomatoes in a pizza shape. It was quite good but I wouldn't miss it or go there just for it.1/2 Pepperoni and 1/2 Mexicana pizza - The only thing that put me off was the salami. It tasted like twiggy sticks/anchovies. Definitely the weirdest salami I've ever tasted. It was such a bummer that there was barely any cheese on it.This would probably be the place you'd go to if there was absolutely nothing open and your fridge was empty. I mean it is still edible.
Had a few pizzas from Amicis..First time I had a calzone...maybe I was starving, maybe I got lucky but it tasted pretty good..Second time I ordered was a spicy one.....REALLY REALLY AVERAGE...wasn't even mildly spicy.Third time as I thought the previous order might have just been bad luck.....Supreme.. Not even average... Ate two bits and put it in the bin..Prices they charge are at the upper end of the pizza market and the quality is just not there.Dominos low end ingredients on a not to bad base... 3rd time was enough to ensure I won't be back....
We were looking for a night @ home without the burden of preparing a meal so we opted to try out a new to us restaurant that did home deliveries. We ordered 3 meals, garlic prawns in brandy cream sauce with rice, Chef special pasta dish with bacon, mushroom, bolognese sauce, mozzarella cheese, oven baked and lastly marinated Pork ribs with BBQ or Plumb sauce. All meals were delivered in 45 minutes and were nicely presented for takeaway food and were delicious so much so that I reheated my wife's leftovers the next day for another taste sensation. When I was young, and eating home cooked foodwas the best, but trying out at Amici, there Spagehtti Marinara and a large pizza also, was altogether another level. Well, Amici Pizza Cafe certainly lived up, to my expectation for a great quality meal and definitely fresh used ingredients, you could taste it with the first bite in my mouth.And the take away large pizza I order, went down well for breakfast, and the rest for lunch at work the next day.
Avoid this place. We walked in today and it seemed sketchy. They claimed our Scoopon voucher was invalid even though it was still valid until November. Their staff is unorganized and clueless. Find somewhere else to dine. We left and are relieved we did.
I ordered the seafood pizza and found it to be decent, but not exceptional. However, I felt it was overpriced considering the limited amount of toppings. I would have liked to see more toppings for the price.

Best pizza in western suburbs! Been coming here for years. Always very nice and would recommend to any lovers of great pizza.
