I would give 0 stars! I’m never going back again. They’re rude and the food is subpar. The sushi’s barely has any meat in it. I got off work and was looking for anything open that isn’t fast food. I called at 9:30 sitting in my car because they close at 10. “Come now we are closing soon” I drove off as soon as they hung up and I was back in my car with the food at 9:40. I ordered 4 sushi rolls for me and my boyfriend. The guy at the counter when I paid said “you came late” even though I got there in 10 minutes which is how long it should take to make 4 sushi rolls. They always love to make snarky comments to customers and smile in your face as if they said something nice or even okay. I don’...

The staff seems to always be in a rush, whether it is during lunch or dinner hours. They tend to clear plates quickly before you have finished your appetizer or soup. It is best to order your main course after you have completed your starter. The staff lacks personable skills, but they are polite. The decor is cosmopolitan, with expensive chairs that are now worn and uncomfortable. Despite these issues, I still love and support this hidden gem of an Asian restaurant.
My boyfriend and I usually go next door to the burger spot. Two seconds prior to arriving to Anzai, he mentioned going there a while ago and enjoyed his experience. We attempted to go into said burger spot but it was closed. We walked into Anzai and did not regret it. The waitress did interrupt when my boyfriend was ordering to talk to a co-worker, however. He ordered sushi and I general tso. There are no free refills on sodas. We will be mindful of that next time. We will continue to patronize them because we left extremely satisfied.
everyones rude .. the man at front desk got my order wrong and refunded me on a different order , and had a attitude cause he was wrong , they dont deserve any business besides there food is not that good to get such rude response . never again..lmao u never refunded the correct amount of money .some thief s like you dont deserve business at all . no wonder why everyone is so rude and miserable . according to your reviews this is nothing new to you .this is how u treat the people in east meadow ? ...have fun losing customers :

that was my first time I came here. the prices were decent. I came there with my two children. the food tasted good, but the staff was not very friendly? I don't know if I'll ever go back there!
I get sushi too much because of them. Amazing people and amazing food. I wish they weren’t hidden away in such a big parking lot, more people should see their restaurant!
My son and wife had a great experience. They had delicious food at reasonable prices and great service. Will definitely come back again and again.
The sushi there was sooo good! So tasty! Highly recommended! Will definitely dine in there again! The staff was very helpful and friendly as well
