A restaurant that inspires confidence in its professionalism and organization! I'm planning my 20-year anniversary at the end of August for 50 guests. The menu is promising! The room is privatized. An outdoor space but in the courtyard of the restaurant allows to put the children there. The chef is very pro with a desire to delight and to discover a refined cuisine. 5 stars if the final bouquet makes its effect! Case to follow!!! Updated on 28 August 2022. Happened upon this restaurant while hunting for somewhere to celebrate our anniversary and was not disappointed. There are quite a lot of restaurants in Chinon and this must qualify as one of the best. Very well set out and plenty of space between tables. We opted to sit inside and booked it in advance...had we not I'm not sure we would have got a table so good idea to ring ahead. Menu was quite varied and wine list, as you would expect in France, was very attractive, Service was efficient and prices well within what we expected for this standard of restaurant.
We went there by chance, at first we were received by a smiling and pleasant young woman, then an older woman, certainly the owner, took over. She was cold and even seemed, I would say, upset to receive us. according to the various opinions I have read, the reception is often cold and they do not seem to appreciate the presence of children. However, we had eaten well, value for money justified. a real child menu could only be beneficial, all children do not necessarily like the melon in entry.
Looked to be one of the larger restaurants in town, made reservation on the day, some of the other restaurants fully booked so was prepared to be disappointed. Needn't have worried excellent food and good service. The owners were very much in attendance which I always take as a good sign. Extensive wine list, ordered wine which wasn't in stock so was given a more expensive bottle for the same price. Lovely aperitif as well. Can definitely recommend Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
a very good lunch of August 15 on terrace at the foot of the castle. dishes are inventive and the service without chichi is appreciated. We were able to taste original dishes such as this silure or sturgeon accompanied by fried zucchini.The tomatoes confites with fresh goat cheese: a pure delicacies. The wine (chinon) is good but it was already known.
located in the city centre, open on Sunday evening, this restaurant has a pretty and airy room. Customers are not aligned to each other and it is very valuable. The kitchen is inventive, delicious and copyy. We've had a lot of fun!It's just a little more smiling service and it'll be really perfect!

a friendly and very professional reception and service. original dishes that rely on local products (sorbets to 3 chinon wines). very well presented but also very good. For us, a must-see when we go to chinon.
