What a cool place! I'm from Southern California and was visiting the Seattle area for five days to see my sister. I stopped by Auntie Irene's three times. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. The staff is both cordial and efficient and they serve great coffee. I enjoyed a tasty sandwich one day and some of their delicious pastries on my other two visits. I could not help but notice that the owner was exactly what an owner should be present, helping her staff, and seeing to things in general. I plan on going back to Auntie Irene's the next time I visit my sister.
They have breakfast and lunch options, sandwiches, pastries, ice cream, milkshakes, and more. They do all of those well, can't really go wrong anything. Service is great, and on top it all, they have a drive through. One thing to keep in mind is during certain times they can get pretty busy, so be mindful that your order may take longer than usual. Pro-tip: You can call ahead and order here. Well deserved 5 stars from me, I'll go out of my way to pick up food here.
Most delicious espresso drinks ever. Especially the white chocolate mocha, I love adding some lavender flavor in there too making it such a yummy combination! Pastries are huuuge and taste great, and the grilled cheese is amazing! Anything you try here is surely going to be a good choice! :
Ordered 2 good morning panini sandwiches to only get egg and cheese on them and very bland taste. Got home and had to add our own meats.Sadly this is the sandwich that we have ordered multiple times and never had it like this. Service is amazing thou and the people are very friendly. Auntie Irene's offers the best Bacon Breakfast Bagel in the area, along with great coffee and excellent breakfast burritos. You can choose from a variety of fillings including ham, chorizo sausage, bacon, turkey, and vegetarian options. Plus, the prices are very reasonable!
The Twister Mocha is absolutely delicious! The BLTA is also very good and quite large. I substituted the pesto mayo for regular mayonnaise, though. My order was nicely packaged. I will definitely be ordering from here again! Thank you!
Nice coffee shop. They were pretty quick with my order despite having a never ending drive-thru line. I’d go again. Note to self: Do not park in front of store during peak times. You’ll be trapped by the drive thru line.
