So, I was in the Bethesda area and decided to stop. I placed an order for the double cheeseburger, medium WELL. Received my burger and it literally was **** so I took it back and she re-made it no problem. They weren?t truthful about their buns, the website states ?Brioche? and I even asked when I was placing order and she confirmed. I received my order also my remade order and both times it was a sesame seeded bun!!!!! Not to mention, the bun comes cold with your WARM
I was visiting Bethesda and wanted something light to eat because it was late and someone suggested to try the Avenue Cafe. I don 't eat meat so after looking through the many options I decided to go with the Veggie Melt and it was delicious! The veggies were sautéed and seasoned just right, the cheese was melted nicely and the hoagie roll was toasted and warmed to perfection. I even ordered additional items to go; the Mediterranean Salad (tasty) and the Oreo Mousse
Thank you Avenue Cafe for serving great eats at such late times !As a restaurant manager, I get off late sometimes when everything is close but Avenue cafe is open even later than when I’m off! the food is always fresh and delicious !I highly recommend the steak and cheese sub as well as the crispy 2x Buffalo chicken sandwich. But to be honest , from what I’ve experienced you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!I appreciate y’all at Avenue cafe!
I was so excited to learn we finally had a hookah/sheesha lounge in Bethesda and their hookah is great!! The space is beautiful and clean. Their staff and food is amazing too. I’ve been many times since I lived around the corner and have no complaints. I’ve even purchased a few Khalil Mamoon hookahs and hookah products there for myself and family members, which they sell at a great reasonable price. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Probably the worst experience i’ve had at a restaurant in a very long time. My husband ordered a buffalo sub and the chicken was so overcooked and dry. My mushroom and swiss burger was even drier. Overcooked patty and mushrooms and no sauce in the burger. Stunned at how one can mess up a burger that bad
Entire restaurant reeks of tobacco. I?d say only come here to eat if you like second hand (or firsthand) smoke, even though all smoking is supposedly done in another part of the building.
highly recommend the steak and cheese, also the crispy chicken sandwich.... A tip ask for a cup of mango habanero sauce it’s so good if you love spicy food
