Big Red Hen offers an excellent variety of dishes, not just chicken. I opted for a beef burger and fries, and I have to say, the burger was delicious, featuring a generous slice of beetroot, which was a delightful surprise. I requested my fries without salt, and they were served exactly as I asked. They were perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with flavor.
This food is absolutely wonderfull this has been my 4th Vist here and I have tried a far bit of the menu the chips are absolutely beautiful the chicken is so juicy and tender and just falls right off the bone the salad is so fresh and tasty I like that they use 100% beef brisket it puts such a beautiful taste to the burger it is all so fresh and tasty I defiantly will be back
I used Big Red Hen for event catering. Daniel was super helpful and worked within my budget and timeframes to provide multiple menu options. Variety, quantity and quality were excellent. Event participants were very impressed and provided positive feedback. I would highly recommend Big Red Hen and will definitely use them again for casual lunch catering.
This is a classic old-fashioned milk bar offering takeout. They serve all the favorites, including potato scallops, Chicko rolls, fish and chips, and roast chicken.
