I took my two grandsons to Mt. Vernon Big Scoop and ordered the Ultimate Extravaganza. Unfortunately, the three young women working there were rude and loudly announced in a packed restaurant, "You do know that's 16 scoops." I replied that I was aware, and if it was a problem to make, we could leave. I also ordered a banana split without nuts, as I cannot eat them, but it came loaded with nuts instead. I will never return or recommend this place to families. They certainly need customer service training. The owners probably have no idea how their employees treat customers. This experience took place at 3:30 PM on July 30, 2021.
Charming vintage vibe! There's an impressive variety of desserts adorned with retro photos! The banana nip was fantastic, especially with the addition of real pineapples and strawberries! Make sure to stop by for a delightful dessert anytime along College Ave in North Mt. Vernon! •̀ᴗو و و
Very charming, old-fashioned ice salon, sends me back when I was a kid. Customer service was a little slow, but they did good work. Food was quite typical diner tariff. Black and white sun was excellent. We will definitely be back for a small taste of nostalgia.
Classic spot. It's a local ice cream parlor that's not the cleanest and not the best in quality, but it offers the most variety for my kids. They love climbing up to take in all the different flavors and the vibrant red and white lights. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Second time coming here.. Best ice cream place for an old fashioned Sunday like you would see back in the day. One of my favorites in the entire northwest. Great to take little ones for a treat or family visiting.
We visit Mt Vernon quite frequently but have never stopped in here! Such an amazing restaurant! The I've cream here is crazy! Definitely have room for dinner and dessert when you stop in!
Old school burger and sundae spot great ice cream, broad selection of sundaes. Staff are lovely and it's a very family friendly space. Love the 1970's menu with original prices.
