Derrimut Skye's Bistro is now called Birdies Bogeys.<br/ <br/ Disclosure: I have been a member at this golf club for 5 years but tonight was our first visit. This is also my 2nd review....I never wanted to be a serial blogger but it's hard not to spread a good word when you uncover a gem!<br/ <br/ Came here with the wifey and kids...WOW! $25 steaks with a glass of wine. We honestly expected a mediocre meal but was quite blown away. Steak was of good quality and well cooked. Free live band on Fridays as well. Ultra friendly staff. I am ashamed that I avoided coming here for years. <br/ <br/ Sorry to our usual Friday haunts...we now have a new alternative locale to support!
Wow I was looking for somewhere special to take my aunt for her birthday near her home and after reading these reviews decided to book. The service and food were faultless. The restaurant stayed open for just the six of us despite no other guests. The staff were very accommodating and did not hurry us along. We ordered 3 courses and wine. The truffled polenta stack rivalled the best Melbourne restaurants at a fraction of the price while the fillet steak was nothing short of perfect. The flourless orange cake was to die for. This is without a doubt one of the best restaurants in the west with very reasonable prices and fine dining quality. We will be back
This is a hidden gem of the West. City views are stunning and food is consistently impressive.We’ve been coming here repeatedly over the last 12 months. Started as our Friday morning coffee spot with friends, which soon became lunch after seeing the menu.Recommend booking as the space doesn’t take long to fill up for lunch.
Sunday Lunch. I come here all the time for Sunday lunch with my mum. The staff as SUPER friendly and lovely. We usually get a parma+chips+salad for $10 which is not bad, but have recently noticed the parma is smaller, there are fewer chips and less salad than before.

Great service and pricing! Overlooking the city views provides a spectacular backdrop after finishing a round of golf. My $18 beef burger was delicious for a golf clubhouse far better than others I've eaten at proper burger venues, well done!
No one there for dinner and took a very long time for food to arrive. Food below average and service not good. Visits here years before we're awesome, not sure why it's changed but needs massive improvement, maybe this is why it was empty!!

We enjoyed the meal and the nice Alsace Riesling The onion tarte was very tasty The snails average Highly recommended is the Cordon bleu.

Food is simple "pub" style food - burgers and parmas and maybe a curry. Food is a good price and fresh.
