my score 4.0 stars (wg from many visit). j and I had blown up here at the sa thu 21st dec, and I finally remembered taking some pictures. <br/ <br/ j had the same court as last review – very nice again. we came here during a double-age and managed to get a place out of the back where it was very bright and sunny. we were presented with the menu that had set a series of interested. we tried the pan roasted sardines on scalion oil toast the meat hook (brat pork bell on Brioche beer). they served their hor chocolate in a large cup which is good for warm day. they also served caffe sua da, the Vietnamese style ice cream with espresso, cold milk condensed milk served over ice. the waiting staff was also very friendly and not hesitate to stop and chat, then they had a chance. the quality of food was also really good and portions were quite generous.
It really is a secret gem and yet it's up there with the best Yarraville cafes!Roberts Street is not somewhere l would normally head to for coffee as it is out on the western frontier edge of Yarraville, on the way to Brooklyn.The beautifully renovated suburban butcher shop of yesteryear provides a great atmosphere for coffee and it's very tasty menu.The food is good with generous servings and the service is friendly and efficient.
We were takwn here by our air bnb hosts for breakfast one Sunday. The cafe itself is situated in an old butcher's shop, hence the name! White subway tiled walls and exposed copper waterpipes added to the steampunk look. The breakfast was stunning, and the coffee was perfectly served...so much so that I needed to have 2!!Staff were very attentive and welcoming. The food, location and service were top notch! Trendy café situated in a converted Butcher shop in a quiet suburb street. Very interesting atmosphere with original splash back tiles, shop glass window and high ceilings. Friendly quick service. Smart healthy menu options for breakfast and lunches. We drove from St Albans to visit and were not disappointed. Highly recommend the Avocado Smash! Great coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice! So yummy. Try this place!
fantastic place, do not definitiw their run of the mill coffee shop. these young have serious thoughts in the aromen of their amazing food. when they pass by a definitive visit if they don't pass and find the place that it's worth the trip. oh and her coffee. stunning
good place to bring the children, 5 or 6 coffees down and just live on living. like a spiritual sanctuary with good food. I love the meat hook. used to love the rub before it was striped from the menu. 5 stars for me.
