This restaurant is fantastic! It has such a charming, vintage atmosphere that I absolutely adore. There’s an extensive selection of vegan options, and everything tastes wonderfully homemade. The desserts are simply delightful! You absolutely have to take some of their homemade pasta to cook at home later—it’s incredibly tasty! The best part? This place is entirely gluten-free, making it a safe spot for anyone with celiac disease! The owner avoids gluten, dairy, and meat, so it’s just amazing! To all who are GF and or GF/V this is a happy place, only 15 m. from Pittsburgh and 10 m from the airport. They are a dedicated GF place and veeery vegan friendly. Menu changes each week as well as the Saturday Brunch. Not a large place but the atmosphere, food be it sweet or savory makes up for it. They do have outside garden setting when weather allows. A must go!! They as well have an allergy friendly Day Spa upstairs, WOW.

How often can you find gluten-free options without having to buy something with wheat for the others? At Cafe Chocolade, no one will be able to tell the difference. Their cakes are so rich and indulgent that wheat flour isn’t even necessary. This is the perfect solution for not wanting to buy two separate desserts for a celebration. It’s my top choice for my own birthday cake.

I stopped by after July 4th, hoping to grab a vegan lunch around 9:00 AM (my guilt was kicking in), but all they had were vegan donuts, cupcakes, and cheese. Did I mention that these might be the best vegan donuts, cupcakes, and cheese I've had since going vegan?
Never disappoint every time we go there!! The food is always delicious and has so much taste! The salads are also great! And the desserts.
