I ordered a burger. It was rare. I do not eat rare meat, especially ground meat. The fries were good.My friend has celiac disease. She cannot have gluten. Even a molecule can make her sick. They brought her salad with croutons on it, so she had to send it back. When we had dessert, she ordered the gluten-free Oreo cheesecake. The server brought it to the table, my friend asked her if it was the gluten-free one and she took it back. She returned it to the table and said it was the gluten-free one. My friend has been sick for the past 5 days. There was gluten in something she ate there. It is irresponsible on the part of the restaurant to advertise food as gluten-free if they can not guarantee...
It was a slower part of the day, which may have helped. My server was a wonderful gentleman who was excited to show me what he reccomended on the menu. He even brought over extra napkins and a sharper knife without my asking as he knew it would be messy.I felt checked in on the perfect amount. Just when I thought I may need something, someone was there to check on me.Everything was prepared well and tasted amazing. My singular complaint is that the macaron fillings were either too sweet or too overpowering for the amount of work that went into the flavouring of the shell. It was a wonderful experience and I'd love to come visit again.
I went for a lovely lunch with my friend.We both had a wild rice bread sandwich, she had soup I had fries. Fantastic meal. So delicious. The only problem we were too full for dessert!We noticed the staff were all amazing! Helpful, polite, friendly and well mannered. They did all they could to make our lunch special.What we particularly noticed was the attention the staff paid to the chef ! One asked her if she needed a break. Another asked her if she needed anything it was just like a family meal interaction.It makes a big difference when the staff care about and look after each other. Really makes for a warm friendly , special place.
It's a nice cafe with good service.I had the vegetarian sandwich on sourdough with humus. It was good, but the vegetables needed seasoning as the humus wasn't enough. The side salad was tossed with the right amount of vinaigrette.My husband had the pulled bison and a side of fries. The sandwich was good, and the fries were tasty but a bit too much salt. My wife took me here for a slice of birthday cake and it was fantastic! Our server... I do apologize I do not remember his name... Was absolutely great!I don't know why we waited so long to go here. I had raspberry angel food cake and it was a very large slice... And very very good. Thanks for making it a little bit special for me
This place is amazing with probably the best cheese cake that I can ever remember. You will not be disappointed with the results of deserts if you decide to come here. Besides the cheese cake the iced lemon Saskatoon berry refresher was delicious.
It was very kind and the food was delicious. The portion seems small and the dessert cake was not as delicious as I thought. I guess I was looking forward to it too much.
