The tavern was mediocre, and like many eateries in the area, it needs to provide more specials and promotions to draw in customers. I was let down by the limited menu options and felt quite frustrated. I think they should expand their variety of dishes and introduce special offers to enhance their business. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. I gave it three stars only because it’s slightly better than other disappointing restaurants nearby. Cedar really needs to improve. Additionally, I have concerns about the alcohol prices, which could be contributing to issues with alcoholism in the area, as I noticed some customers who seemed intoxicated.
We love this charming restaurant! The ambiance is wonderful, with friendly staff and a welcoming crowd. The food is tasty, served hot, and reasonably priced. They offer a full bar, karaoke on certain nights, and even a small bowling alley. Every time we go, we have a fantastic time! Additionally, we appreciate that smoking is no longer permitted inside, which is a major plus for us. There's also plenty of parking available in the lot.
The staff and patrons are all very friendly. The chicken here is absolutely delicious! Although they typically only offer the “whole chicken” option on Saturday nights, they went above and beyond to prepare it for us on a Sunday. It was worth every penny, and I definitely plan to return!
I recently tried the burgers and fries at this restaurant for the first time, and they were incredibly tasty. I would rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5.

The food and service at this restaurant are outstanding! The Shrimp PoBoy is a must-try and deserves to be a permanent fixture on the menu.
