Flew into Brisbane this morning and caught the train into Southbank looking for a quick brekky. Found this place nearby however on Zomato it said it was closed on a Sunday. Happened to walk past the restaurant accidentally and it was open. Sat down and ordered coffee which was pretty standard however the food was superb. Nothing on the menu for a vegan however after a quick chat with the waitress, she managed to get the chef to show off his skills and prepare one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. A piece of sourdough topped with, grilled capsicum, fried mushrooms, onion, tomato and rocket. When back in this neck of the woods I'll definitely return.
what a sweat! Friday evening 6.45 with hardly anyone at the place and as many employees as customers. we were told that each menu item should wait at least 30 minutes. with only 45 minutes to our show we could not risk this time. painful hospitality and no care or obvious regret. never again!
I had the calamari which tasted really good, however my fish and chips was rather average and it was incredibly overpriced as well....the service was really quick though but for such a nice location I was hoping to get better quality food considering how expensive it is too
one of my favorite restaurants. the service is good and the staff was super professional. the best steak I've ever eaten! definitely worth a visit.
