I have visited a number of times and have always been happy with the service and product.The variety of juices are great and we have tried several different options. Nice and refreshing on a warm day. I know the acai bowls are a big draw, but my kids just prefer the fruit salad and I am not a fan. I found it very heavy and once all the fruit was eaten, rather unpleasant - the Notella. Might give one of the fruit options a try in the future.The coffee is absolutely delicious and very well made. The company has obviously invested in their staff training program. Yes the cakes are expensive, but to be honest they are so full of nuts/protein sources it is hard to eat a whole one. Tried it out for the first time and probably the last time... for healthy nutritious food I wasn't expecting prices to be so high... but what topped it off was the customer service.... no smiles, seemed as though I had to be an expert and know everything for the girl who served us to understand what I was ordering... she made me feel I was an idiot... then the orders came out one at a time and was told the acai bowl was being dressed when the second part of the order came out... then about 10mins later hubby went in to get the bowl and was told again it was just being dressed... ordered them in takeaways.. it came out without a takeaway bowl.... started to eat it and then someone came out wi...
We live in the area and decided to check out this vegan site. Frankly we were underwhelmed. There wasn't much in the way of food for lunch. Just a couple of different types of salads that are way overpriced, desserts (cakes) that are ridiculously small and overpriced and drinks. We ended up buying a taco salad each. Even at $10.90 each (on special down from $14.90), it really isn't worth the money. A bigger selection of meals/snacks and an honest review of prices would go a long way to getting a good customer base. Won't bother going back there again.
I called into Charlie's Raw Squeeze & Vegan Pantry for breakfast this morning ... I had a salad ($13) and juice $(4) ... the salad was very nice with fresh crisp vegies and the juice was delicious ... the cafe is in a great location overlooking the bay at Clontarf ... the vegan pantry is very well stocked with dry goods, bulk goods, cold and frozen goods as well as fruit and vegies ... staff were very friendly ... service can be slow if a customer has bulk goods that have to be weighed and price checked as there is only one cash register Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I am a coeliac and do appreciate establishments that have gluten free food but not when you are asked to pay $8.00 for a small piece of slice. When querying the price I was told that it is about quality not quantity and that there products are all vegan and gluten free. This is not an excuse to overcharge customers, particularly when there are other places on the Redcliffe Peninsula that offer better quality, larger cakes and slices for much cheaper prices - and they are made on the premises, for example Kashmir on Redcliffe Pde.
Have visited Charlie's several times now and every time has been great. They make really good coffee with an endless choice of non dairy milks on offer. They also have very tasty salads and meal bowls, as well as smoothies and delicious sweet treats. There is also a grocery section with lots of vegan goodies, and fresh produce on sale. Staff are really friendly and helpful. How refreshing to find a relaxing, great place offering vegan fare. Well done. Will be returning as often as possible.
Was stoked to find this little vegan cafe on the way to Beachmere. Food was delicious and fresh, great options for quick and easy service, sizes were generous - I was that full after a mango bowl! Would definitely return and would recommend for sure! Great job!

I felt it was overpriced. Customer service is poor - I've been a few times hoping to find that WOW feeling - but looks like the old juicer at home makes for a better option, and you can always find a seat along the beachfront somewhere
