Well located by the river, Le comptoir is a must try, the food is excellent. Our table ordered an entrée of asparagus served with a poached egg and a goat cheese? Very good cold entrée! Main courses were a excellent: beef burger with fries, lamb chops with roasted vegetables and a lacquée pork cheek with pork belly, roasted vegetables and a sweet potatoe purée! Amazing!! I would have to say that the two last dishes are a bit out of season (more a wintery meal) I have to point out that getting our plates took FOREVER! No excuse but a poorly managed kitchen. But one can forgive this problem : the food is excellent
Found this little gem of a restaurant during our weekend away. Didn't have a reservation but the host was able to sit us at the breakfast bar. Coffee was delicious as were the mimosas we had! They were made with a QC made cider. I ordered the bacon Bénédictine and my friend ordered the vegetarian chili breakfast. Could not have been happier with our choices. Ran about $20 each, all in. On top of it our server was lovely. Made us feel welcome from the minute we sat down to the minute we walked out. Would definitely come back to this restaurant again.
Service is great. our waitress was careful and knew his products well. the restaurant encourages local producers. The food is excellent. the price a little expensive, but since it is a quality meal that promotes local trade it is justifiable. we had a great evening in this restaurant with modern décor :)! I recommend it!
balance the sugar and salt in your dishes especially the salt trout. We loved service and atmosphere!Just disappointed with some tapas; the cheeses were surrounded by sugar, it prevented us from really tasted cheese, the truite confite; extremely salty and the Arranchi tasted weird. We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. food was of quality and everything was good. The scallops and duck tacos were delicious! and the tray with local products as well. A place to return!
I note this place 4 stars, and it's very well deserved. And that's what I said, we liked the 2 times we ate at that restaurant. very well welcomed, very good service and especially very well eaten.
meals and plates are good and well presented. the decoration is pretty and the service and very good. a little high price for quality and quantity. notice, a little too light in the evening.
