This brewery pub overlooks the river.There are a number of tables on the terrace if its a sunny day. there are 20 beers to try and you can enjoy a tasting menu. The beers are brewed on the premises and you can see the vats from the bar. the bar staff are extremely knowledgable and will suggest a beer to suit your tastes. the menu is short but the dishes are different to those we have seen in most Quebec pubs. the goats cheese, walnut and honey ciabatta was delicious. the accompanying salad was fresh and crisp. there were a variety of options featuring local produce. well worth a visit for a pub lunch. if you have time, take a walk across the bridge to see the sculpture and art work park. ple...
The local microbrewery and restaurant-pub is fantastic! With ample indoor seating and an outdoor terrace overlooking the river, there is plenty of space for guests. Guests can enjoy classic pub games like foosball, and request additional games to play at their table. The decor is fun and centered around beer. The staff is friendly and the establishment is kept clean. There is a wide variety of brews available, including gluten-free cider options. A friend tried the poutine and gave it a high rating of 8/10! The beer-infused gravy gives the dish a unique and delicious flavor. I will definitely be returning and organizing more gatherings with friends at this wonderful spot!
I used to be a regular at this restaurant until a waiter overcharged me for a glass of beer. Another visit resulted in a greasy and dirty menu, which was disappointing. The service was lacking, as I didn't receive dressing or utensils with my meal. To top it off, they switched to serving smaller portions and raised their prices. Sadly, this was my final visit to this establishment. It's a shame to see a place with potential deliver such subpar quality. Goodbye, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
This is a great place to grab a beer. They have a wide selection on tap. The staff is very friendly and the service is excellent. I only tried the blonde beer myself, but others at my table tried different varieties and all agreed that the beer was fantastic.
