Have visited a couple of times during the school holidays as they have been putting on Disney film days during the day for families. A really good idea and, at £1 for a kids' meal, extremely affordable. The pub was clean and looked great and the staff were friendly at all times. We had a meal with the kids and it was nice pub food at very reasonable prices. Not drinking on this occasion, but with Madri, Morretti, Neck Oil and others on offer, it was very tempting!
We were there for a good night of just having a few drinks. Had to wait over 30 minutes for a drink also the glasses were dirty. The tables were filthy and the floor was sticky and dirty. They were relying on customers to bring the empty glasses into the bar as the staff were too busy smoking outside. All of a sudden the atmosphere switches and the landlady was very unprofessional and rather than confronting the situation she walks away like a child.
The Eagle and Hind was a brilliant experience. I was visiting for a few days on business. The experience was nothing short of amazing. The staff made me very welcome. In particular Michele the bartender. Charlotte the land lady made sure I was looked after. Aaron the kitchen porter made sure everyone was attended to. The food for the price it is was, was delicious. Brilliant pub. Brilliant staff and brilliant food Can't wait to visit again.
Had the pleasure of having brunch with my family at this beautiful friendly and very festive pub/reasturant,the food was outstanding and my nanna was realy happy to see a senior menu,she had fish and chips and mushy peas,followed by crumble and custard,presentation was as good as the food,we will be coming back in the new year.Thank you for looking after us,great team at the Eagle And Hind.Merry xmas and new year to you all. I brought my mother to this restaurant for a two-course Sunday lunch. The food was fantastic - we enjoyed breaded mushrooms for our starter and roast beef and turkey for our main course, all for less than £16 each. It was great value for the quality of the meal. The service was fast, efficient, and friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect. We will definitely be back for another visit.
The food and service at this restaurant are excellent, and I highly recommend it. The Christmas menu is superb, as is the regular menu, which offers dishes in varying sizes. They also have a wide range of drinks available.
The refurb is great and everything has improved since it changed hands. Brilliant land lady, friendly staff, good service and the Tacos are lovely! Will definitely be going back again! Lovely pub! Brilliant atmosphere!
