Super Tacos El Pastorcito Estilo DF... wow!... the name is almost as long as some recent light novel titles. But if this taco truck had a ridiculously long light novel title it would be: Reborn as a Taco Truck Across Temple City Park and Unexpectedly Maxed Out My Tai Chi Level.What I love most about this truck is the taste and style of tacos are close enough to my favorite taco stands but with the benefit of a health permit. There is a trompo in the truck and golden pineapple pieces in the pastor tacos. The meat here is perfectly seasoned and so flavorful that there is no need to drown the tacos in salsa. I've come here several times in the past. Not sure what happened to my previous review. Today, I definitely like the lengua tacos and the al pastor tacos. The carne asada was just okay. We also got the Jamaica and it tasted great. I was savouring it for a day and really wanted a refill. Service is pretty quick if there isn't too many people ahead of you but many times this taco place has many people lined up for their good tacos. Definitely come by and check them out. They are parked across the street from the Temple City park on Las Tunas. No seating available so you can either stand and eat or take it to go. High quality meats. Delicious sauces. Friendly service. Plenty of area to hang out. Of all the taco trucks I've tried in the LA area, this has to be in my top 5. The quality is top-notch. For one thing, the beef tongue was a GIGANTIC portion. A little unreal to be honest.
Stopped by this place on a whim and so glad we did! Highly recommend the lengua taco so good. Great value and everything was delicious. Also tried the mulitas as recommended by a fellow customer and was not disappointed.
