As a CG native first visited Espositos deli 40 years ago, it was a weekend tradition. Visited again Sunday night (no longer live in NJ), ordered a pie and a couple subs. The pie was good, not Frank Pepe's, but not bad much better than Lombardi's. The Italian hot dog very good flavor not on pizza roll but very good. Sunday night staff a little distracted by their phones and the case needs some proper storage training to be done. I was with someone with a lot of food service experience.
It's a fantastic place to eat, and the Grandma Pie is exceptional! The staff is wonderful, and the management goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
